Works Part-time

Diagnosed with ABC in 2017.

I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer back in 2017, which spread to my lungs, chest and axillary nodes. It then spread to the brain in 2018.I now can only work part-time and every 12 weeks I need time off for scans. I have treatment every 3 weeks on my non-working day. I like to have something to keep my mind occupied but also need to be mindful of side effects of treatment and fatigue.

Whilst the disruption is minimal on my current treatment, and I have very little time off work for appointments, I am not sure how my work would treat me if I couldn’t work for long periods or had to have IV chemo.
